Avocado mango tomato sandwich


Tropical Summer mood requires a tropical sandwich too . I’ve made this on an attempt to combine fruits and veggies for a light homey lunch plus giving it a familiar creamy taste with the use of grated parmesan in the salad dressing. All you need for this delicious match is:

  • avocado slices
  • mango slices
  • big tomato slices
  • lattuce thinly cut
  • some onion thinly cut
  • salt and olive oil to brush on the bread slice

This bread was soft and delicious, infact i home made with the help of a cool bread maker which takes 3 and half hours to knead, rise and bake simple ingredients like flour, water, butter, powder milk, salt, sugar, yeast.

For the dressing you’ll need few other things like:

  • plain yogurt
  • olive oil
  • few salty capers thinly cut
  • grated parmesan
  • bunch of basil leaves

If you own a rice cooker you can also try making yogurt with it as I usually do. Add a couple of spoon of yogurt to a liter of lukewarm milk. Then lock it in the rice cooker and wait for the yogurt to form after four or five hours. If you live in cold weather climate press the ON button of the rice cooker and let it warm up for no more than 2 minutes. Turn it off and repeat this for a couple of times at a 1 or 2 hours distance. Enjoy the tropical sandwich! 🙂
