fishball soup & a risotto

Last nite dinner: for him a classical noodle soup with fresh made fishballs, for her a tomato risotto. what they have in common? pistacchios and curly chinese cabbage. the quite dinner in eco fitness in a semi classical hong kong flat 2010. Cena di ieri: per lui la classica zuppa di palle di pesce fresche fatte  a mano, per lei un risotto al pomodoro. Due ingredienti in comune: pistacchi e cavolo in entrambe i piatti.

how to make Soup:

  1. sautee grated onion in tea oil spoons ~ sautee cipolle in olio
  2. add fenugreek dry leaves and chili powder ~ agg. qualche spezia  a piacere fresca o secca
  3. add 1 tomato in cubes ~ agg. un pomodoro a cubetti
  4. add boiled water ~ agg. acqua bollita
  5. add a handful of pistachios~ agg. una manciata di pistacchi
  6. add the cabbage in chunks ~ agg. mezzo cavolo a pezzi
  7. add the noodles ~ spaghetti o noodle a questo punto
  8. then the fishballs ~ poi le palle di pesce
  9. serve hot when noodles and fishballs are ready cooked. ~ servire calda quando gli spaghetti sono pronti
  10. top with buttered grated cabbage sprinkled with black pepper. ~ cospargere di cavolo grattugiato ripassato in burro e sale in padella

as u can see i prefer using chili and pepper instead of salt, sometimes it s healthier this way! preferisco usare pepe e chili invece del sale perche  a volte e’ piu salutare cosi!

how to make Risotto:

same procedure as above … simile procedura come la zuppa
