That fruit inside! Il frutto com’e’ dentro!

Gom is the original name, dont know if there is a translation around. Probably this fruit can be found only in Vietnam. It’s orange and spiky on the outside, a sticky red flesh inside divided in segments, it is largely used as natural colorant in the Vietnamese home kitchen: i tried it and no taste. We had stickey red rice for breakfast as well from it. 


Si chiama gom, si trova in Viet Nam: arancione e spinoso sulla buccia, a spicchi rossi soffici e senza sapore all’interno. Questi vengoo utilizzatic ome colorante naturale nelle varie ricette, ad esempio a colazione abbiamo ricevuto riso rosso a colla (sticky).
