Pasta e garbanzos ~ Lumachine ai ceci

This pasta & garbanzos from last week made two dinners really satisfying for us. With a bunch of garbanzos left in the can i also prepared hummus with lemon drops and home made yogurt. The beans were left cooking in a tomato puree after having been slightly fried over oil, hing, turmeric, cumin, crushed garlic, a tinge of all of these. Pasta was cooked together with the beans and a couple of glasses of salty hot water. Wait until pasta is tender and the soup is formed. et voila’! Supertasty.

Questa pasta e ceci ha servito due cene. Con i ceci avanzati dalla lattina ho fatto humus con qualche goccia di limone e yogurt bianco fatto in casa. I ceci si sono cucinati in un puree di pomodori, dopo essere stati leggermenti ripassati in padella con olio, aglio grattugiato, haldi, cumino e asafoetida. Le lumachine si sono cucinate insieme ai ceci successivamente e con l’aggiunta di un paio di bicchieri di acqua bollente salata. Et voila. Supergustosa la zuppa!
